WordPress Amazon Affiliate Store — TeesOgram

🎯 The Challenge
A Merch by Amazon seller with 683 live print-on-demand designs needed a WordPress affiliate store to drive SEO and social traffic to Amazon listings. The existing Pricebagger.com domain had an outdated WordPress install with hundreds of incorrectly imported products, wrong prices, missing images, broken category structures, and no reliable product import automation. The Amazon Product Advertising API required an Access Key, Secret Key, and Affiliate Associate Tag to function — and was subject to Amazon's eligibility policy requiring a minimum of 10 qualifying sales per 30 days for continued access. When eligibility lapsed, the API stopped importing products entirely. The site was also infected with malware twice during the project, including database-level infections that caused the site to display malware warnings to visitors. The project eventually required a full domain migration from Pricebagger.com to TeesOgram.com as a clean-slate rebrand to resolve accumulated technical debt.
💡 Our Solution
Built the complete affiliate store on TeesOgram.com using WordPress, the REHub affiliate theme, Elementor Pro, and Content Egg Pro for Amazon API product fetching. Configured automated product import across 14 categories — t-shirts (standard, v-neck, long sleeve), raglan shirts, pullover and zip hoodies, sweatshirts, tank tops, tote bags, pop sockets, iPhone and Samsung cases, throw pillows. Wrote three custom PHP scripts: a deduplication script to remove duplicate ASIN entries, a pricing correction script to reconcile displayed prices against API data, and a category cleaning script to remove incorrectly categorised products — reducing an inflated import to 683 clean matched products. When the Amazon API became ineligible, manually assigned affiliate URLs across 660 products using a client-provided master spreadsheet to restore all click-through functionality. Migrated from Pricebagger.com to TeesOgram.com with full product data transfer and category restructure. Removed malware twice — first from infected files, second from database-level entries with root-level cleanup. Updated REHub theme to latest version, installed Elementor Pro, corrected mobile responsiveness across all pages, added Shop link to navigation, and configured reCAPTCHA on contact forms.
🏆 The Result
Full WordPress affiliate store live at teesogram.com with 683+ products across 14 categories, all click-through links working, mobile responsive, and malware-free. REHub theme and Elementor Pro updated and active. Client confirmed in August 2025: "The site is doing well. I have an SEO guy working on it." Client returned in April 2026 for plugin updates, Elementor issue resolution, and security patches — confirming the platform remained stable enough to support ongoing SEO investment more than 18 months after the original build. Total investment across all phases: $660.
