WordPress Completion & SEO — Project Document Help AU

🎯 The Challenge
Project Document Help (PDH) is an Australian IT and digital project documentation consultancy offering nine core services. Their WordPress site was approximately 85% complete — pages existed but the Services Page had thin content, nine individual service subpages had placeholder text rather than structured copy, unique H1 tags and meta descriptions were missing across all service pages causing SEO cannibalisation, the booking flow through SimplyBookMe was not properly linked from service pages, and the "How to Book Our Services" section was flat and unprofessional. A Blog page also needed to be added and integrated with the client's StoryChief plugin. The brief required a clean, modern design matching the benchmark site vodcs.co.za and full responsive layout across desktop and mobile. Each service had two distinct asset types — small icons for homepage teaser cards and full images for the Services and Booking pages — which needed to be handled separately.
💡 Our Solution
Scoped the project with a full written proposal covering all deliverables across seven categories and a day-by-day 10-day timeline. Updated the Home Page hero with the corrected "View Our Services" CTA link (which had been pointing to the Contact page), and built a new intro section with three pillars — Documentation, Governance, and Recovery — with a Book a Discovery Session CTA. Rebuilt the Services Page with new heading, intro copy, and nine updated service cards with "Learn More →" links. Rebuilt all nine service subpages with full Problem-Solution-Who It's For-Outcome-Booking CTA structure. Applied unique H1 and meta description to every subpage. Assigned correct, non-duplicated service images per page. Redesigned the "How to Book Our Services" section into a modern five-step icon-based flow — horizontal timeline on desktop, stacked on mobile. Linked all Book Now CTAs correctly to SimplyBookMe with service pre-selection where supported. Added Blog page to navigation with StoryChief plugin integration. Refreshed the site theme to a clean, modern look per client request. Post-theme-change regression check completed — footer legal links restored, contact page map reinstated, leftover template background image replaced with correct branded image.
