🎯 The Challenge
Lighthouse Cleaning LLC had been running a static HTML website for years — no CMS, no working contact form, no local SEO, and no ability for the client to manage content independently. The site needed to be fully rebuilt in WordPress across four pages (Home, Commercial, Airbnb, About) with a working quote request form, Elementor-based design matching the brand's elegant aesthetic, and local SEO targeting Longmont and Boulder County, Colorado. Budget was $120. As the project progressed, design scope expanded through multiple template and content iterations. The logo also needed colour adjustments for the new palette. Post-launch, the contact form email routing failed, requiring SMTP configuration on Bluehost. In 2025, the business relocated to Savannah, Georgia, then again to Chattanooga, Tennessee — each move requiring a full content, SEO, and map update across the entire site. Speed issues recurred and required optimisation at multiple points throughout the engagement.

Rebuilt the full website using WordPress and Elementor Pro, working from an interior design template the client selected from Envato Elements — chosen for its elegant blue palette and sophisticated layout suited to the Lighthouse Cleaning brand. Four pages built with custom photography, updated branding, and Lighthouse Cleaning content across Home, Commercial, Airbnb, and About. Logo redesign coordinated with a graphic designer at no additional cost — baby blue wave, pink sun, white lighthouse and birds. WPForms contact form routed to business email with WP Mail SMTP configured on Bluehost for reliable delivery. Local SEO implemented with page-level meta titles, descriptions, and location keywords for Longmont and Boulder County. reCAPTCHA added to form after spam submissions began. In June 2025, full content and SEO migration from Colorado to Savannah GA — new location references, new map embed, new target islands. In mid-2025, second full location migration to Chattanooga TN, Hamilton County. Speed optimisation completed with image compression, caching, and plugin audit. Two additional service pages built: Move In/Move Out Cleaning and Office Cleaning.
